Review
To promote the release of the latest Arch Enemy CD, Century Media has released a four song EP by the band called Revolution Begins. This single, set to have a music video released with it, features two tracks off the upcoming release, a previously unavailable cover track, and a live song, much like a typical EP for bands these days for certain outlet stores that carry metal music.

Well, the EP only costs a few US dollars, and in some cases you are paying less then one dollar per song, which is the typical cost for an MP3 download these days. This means you get a factory pressed CD with some nice artwork to add to your collection. Aside that, you do have some good stuff on the release. "Revolution Begins" is a pretty good track, which sounds like the band is reverting back to the days of Anthems Of Rebellion, and then a much heavier, faster paced track called "Blood On Your Hands". If it weren't for the ability to cash in on the title track, this one could easily pull of being a single as well.

As mentioned above, you also get a cover track that was previously unreleased. "Walk In The Shadows" is a cover of the song originally performed by Queensr˙che. The track isn't anything special, but a nice Gothenburg version of the track. The same can be said for how exciting the track "I Am Legend/Out For Blood" winds up being. The quality of the song is really good, but it depends on if you like the way the vocals are done on stage as to whether you'll enjoy this song or not, as some people think she sounds terrible live but amazing on CD. This track is easily one of the better live ones out there, so if you like the live stuff it's worth a listen.

This release is more an item for people who are dying to hear something off the new Arch Enemy album Rise Of The Tyrant, as well as a collectors piece for fans of the band who have to have everything the band has released. It's worth the spare couple of bucks to buy, but it's nothing spectacular you need to rush right out and get, especially if you already own the Live Apocalypse DVD, and plan to get the new album, it's nothing you really need to concern yourself with.
