"Sick" is the lead single off the latest Pain Of Salvation album, Scarsick, which is supposedly the second part of a conceptual album that started with Be. This CD Single was issued to radio stations only to promote the release of Scarsick, which isn't shocking as this is one of the better songs off the album, even though it's a bit off the wall.

On this radio EP is the song, "Sick", in two versions. One is the editted version for radio of profanity and time, even though this version still clocks in at just a hair shorter then five minutes long. This version is probably the version you know moreso then the album version if your local radio stations happen to actually play this song. The "Album Version" of "Sick" is much more enjoyable though, as it doesn't start with the word "Sick!" being shorted and slightly cut off at the start, and gives you a better idea of what to expect on the album then the radio version. For those who haven't heard the song though, the song will grow on you. The main thing that will bother you is the random moaning sounds that vocalists makes at points in the song that make him sound mentally handicapped. The chorus is catchy, and the build up to it is amazing, even if the chorus is much slower then that. There's really no point to pursue this one unless you're a collector, as the "Album Version" is much better then this exclusive "Edit" version.
