Have you ever wondered what the band Mortician would sound like if they not only wrote cheesy lyrics about the worshipping of Satan, dropping plenty of the horror sound chunks to just about every song on the release, but also had a real person doing the drums instead of simply programming a machine? Well, that question has been answered by Satan's Revenge On Mankind, and their full length release, Supreme Malicious Necro Terror is...well...it's heavy, evil, and often quite boring.

All the signature elements of a Mortician worshipping band are there, including the insanely down toned bass and very deep gutteral with the bass cranked. However, the main drive of their idol's records were the horror chunks that adorned almost every track of the album. While the album does have some (which don't start being incorporated until "Of Vermin And Men"), there really aren't many on here. It's nice to be able to just go head first into the song without having an unrelated, poorly acted segment kick start the song, but the music on this release really isn't that great and could have greatly benefited from that concept greatly. "Submit To Satan!" is not that bad a track, but as you go on the music becomes even more simpler, especially with the drumming. "Of Vermin And Men", for example, is a somewhat mid-paced track that has more of a Groove metal beat to it, where you expect the vocalist to just come out rapping. If you don't start drowsing off to "The Defence Of The Heritage Of Rock'N'Roll By The United Terrorists In The Service Of Satan", a short instrumental track with an audio sample of a man speaking playing over it, you'll probably doze off at the start of "Support Your Local Butcher", and continue through while the song actually picks up and stands out from everything you've heard so far.

"Submit To Satan!", "Support Your Local Butcher", "Succulent White Trash" and "Delicious Lobus Parietalis" are, really, the only hints of hope that this CD has. Other then that you have songs that, thanks to the insanely repetative drum work, which is extremely irritating on a number of tracks since the drummer thinks he's Lars Ulrich of Metallica hitting what has to be an upside down metallic pot you would use to cook food with in place of a snare drum, sound a lot like one another. The only indications on some of the tracks mentioned and a few others would be the way the vocals are performed, as well as the guitars, and even they start to grow stale as well after a while, or, in the case of the insanely slow, droning track "As Nausea Sets In", will give you an epic migraine at how poorly done the track is.

Supreme Malicious Necro Terror tried to be a bit different from their idols, but in the end wound up being a rather boring rip off act. With only four tracks on the album that will really hold your attention and don't sound like every other song on the release. If the band focuses on the drums a bit more, and adding a little more, even upping the speed on their material like they did on only a few tracks on here, then Satan's Revenge On Mankind would be a good band to listen to, but they still have a good amount of work to do before they would be a band where you simply must rush out and pick their latest album up.
