Review
After a year from the debut album The Stings Of Conscience by Unearth was released, the band issued Endless, a four song EP with three new songs, as well as a bonus demo track. Put simply, this EP is really where the band started to show that they were more then just cliche riffs and hooks mixed with straight Hardcore, and displayed that the band knew what path they decided they would walk on, but sadly for one song only.

"Endless" is an absolutely amazing track and really shows off the band's progression since the debut album. Having an original kick to the sound, better recording qualities and vocals, and not so generic music, the song really shows off some promise for the band. And then you have "Internal War" and "The Charm" ring in, which both sound a lot like tracks that were omitted from the debut album. While, yes, these tracks do sound better and heavier, they aren't anything too spectacular, especially with "The Charm" boasting the same kind of technical riffs used on previous songs of their debut now and again. "My Desire (Demo)" isn't all that spectacular either thanks to the band utilizing the most generic riffs possible for the chorus.

Endless really shows a lot of hope for the band with the title track, but everything else on here really needs some drastic improvement. Again, the band shortchanges themselves by incorporating nothing but insanely bland and overused music from other bands of the Hardcore and Metalcore scene to fuel their sound, and in the end it just comes off boring. While the music is solid, has a better production quality then their debut full length, as well as are often heavier and catchier then their previous material, it just winds up being a nice listen a few times through, then just filler in your collection.
