Revengeance is due for release January 29th of 2016 through Napalm Records, and marks the group’s third full-length album since 2012’s Monnos.
According to the Napalm Records store landing page, “[…] CONAN return with their newest release REVENGEANCE. With inspiration taken from video games, retro sword and sorcery movies, ancient battle scenes and the hum and aroma of warm output valves they have laid down 6 songs of total heaviness, unsurpassed in their blend of brutality and tone, groove and flow. Prepare to be blown away by the heaviest Conan album yet as they hack, slash and charge their way into your subconscious.”
Conan formed back in 2006, and had been periodically active in the years following. They remained steadily active in 2009. Since 2011, the band has been going through a line-up change that left founding guitarist/vocalist Jon Davis the only original member left. ex-Agent of the Morai bassist Chris Fielding and Intensive Square drummer Rich Lewis were brought in later that year.
