In advance of its release April 8th, Decibel Magazine delivers the sonic punishment of third cut, “Divergence,” noting of the track, “With the basement-dwelling low heaviness of the most offensive of brutal death metal, yet enough labyrinthine riff complexity to get your GPS lost, the band’s upcoming third full-length Ephemeral appeals to the inner caveman and physicist within us all. Get your brain exploded and your skull imploded (simultaneously?) with this premiere.”
“Religion is the great plague of man,” adds INHERIT DISEASE collectively of the theme behind “Divergence.” “Science is the cure through utilization of technology. This is a song [guitarist] Derek [DeRoos] wrote most of. He kept rewriting and throwing out parts on this song because they weren’t hard enough to play. It took forever to finish. It’s all over the place and hard as hell to play!”
