Formed from the poetic marrow of creative intercourse, OTEP is more than a band. OTEP is an Art Movement, a Revolution; Breaking ground. Breaking rules. Breaking barriers. Articulate. Aggressive. Pure Adrenaline. ARTcore of Heavy Mental Rock.” This is how mastermind/vocalist OTEP Shamaya and her band have been described and this album proves this truth!

Today the third song from GENERATION DOOM “In Cold Blood” is being exclusively premiered via Founded in April 2002, is a website that focuses on the portrayal of lesbian and bisexual women in the media. Listen to “In Cold Blood” HERE:

OTEP had the following to say to about the song:

“There are nights I think of you. Suffering in the sweet amnesia of nostalgia. Then I remember the cold loneliness of being by your side & I hear my own voice whispering in the night, “There’s something wrong with me for thinking something’s right with you. In cold blood. In cold blood”

This bit of writing created the song “IN COLD BLOOD”. It was really hard to share something so private and personal but I’m glad I did.”

OTEP’s seventh studio album and Napalm Records debut: GENERATION DOOM produced by Howard Benson will be released April 15th. LIMITED EDITION Pre-orders for GENERATION DOOM are available NOW in exclusive bundle packages from the Webstore.
